Tsarap-chhu and Zanskar, 7 days
Do you want to paddle one of the world’s highest, most remote and arguably beautiful rivers Tsarap Chhu and Zanskar ?
Descending over 1000m in 5 days, on crystal blue water in a desert, through tight box canyons and deep gorges, visiting monasteries and sleeping under the Milky Way every night, the Tsarap Chu is a truly unforgettable trip.
Start point: Tsarap Chu at Sarchu (4250m)
End Point: Indus river at Wet n Wild camp, Nimoo (3200m)
Distance: 280km Duration: 5 days
Grade: Between 3+ to 4+ depending on when you paddle.

Great class II / III big volume river for beginner - intermediate paddling, and as a warm up for experienced paddlers before going on to more challenging rivers. Ganga is also a great starter for paddlers not used to big volume rivers. We can spend 2-3 days paddling on the ganga either as day trips or as an expedition with camping on the beautiful river beaches.
Kayaking on Alaknanda
Alaknanda is one of the two rivers which merge to form the Ganga. A class III / IV big volume river, it's great for intermediate - experienced paddlers who wish enjoy fun and adventurous expeditions on nice clean water. Recommended plan: 2-3 days as an expedition with camping on beaches.
Kayaking on Upper Bhagirathi
Bhagirathi is the other river which merges with Alaknanda to form the Ganga. Upper Bhaghirati (in and around Uttarkashi, India) is a class IV / V creek style river which can be paddled in 3-4 days as an expedition. Recommended for experienced paddlers looking to have good quality whitewater.

Lower Bhagirathi is a 3-4 class III / IV hour day trip, a lot of fun to play around with the waves and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
