1 night 2 days trip on the Mighty Indus

Day 1
Shey to Phey (rafting)

Your transfer will take you to the starting point in Shey, where our team will be waiting for you. After a briefing and packing our gear into dry bags, we’ll embark on our journey. We’ll run easy rapids, learning to work as a team, and in return, we’ll be rewarded with unforgettable views of the Indus Valley and stunning Buddhist temples. We’ll spend the night camping near Phey.

Day 2
Phey to Nimmoo (rafting), back to Leh

After breakfast, we’ll pack up our camp and set off. Today, we’ll encounter some more interesting rapids, but we’re well-prepared for them. The river winds into a deep, breathtaking canyon. We’ll stop for lunch in a beautiful spot. In the afternoon, we’ll reach our camp, where you can change clothes and relax before the transfer takes you to Leh. 

Cost: $ 300 per head

Minimum group size - 4. For smaller groups we are happy to do the expedition for a minor increase in price, or we can club you with other groups depending on availability. For larger groups (8 or more) we are happy to give discounts, reach out to us for the same!

What is included in the cost

• Vehicle transport

• All arrangements for staying and camping

• Accommodation on twin sharing basis in tents / hotel

• Meals and safe drinking water will be provided by us

• All rafting / camping / kayaking equipment

• Inner Line Permits

• We recommend you to bring your own sleeping bags, however we will have sleeping bags available for use

• Kayak rental price included

What is NOT included in the cost

• Flights

• Expenses of any personal nature (laundry / phone calls / alcohol / cigarettes / insurance / camera fee / etc.)

• Any expense incurred due to force of nature such as landslides, bad weather or reasons beyond our control

• Tips & gratuities (we recommend 5-10% of your trip cost- to be distributed among the team) – personal choice

• Travel & cancellation insurance
